துயில் எழுப்பும் தூய  ஆழ்வார் 

Climbing up that sacred hills along the eastern ghats of that peninsular India in the serene month of Marghazi ( Mid December to Mid January ), a soul awakens every aspiring living being from its embryonic slumber in the chill weather of December, with a penetrating voice.

இதமான மார்கழி மாத குளிரில் இந்திய தீப கர்ப்பத்தின் கிழக்கு தொடர்ச்சி மலைகளில் அந்த புனித மலையில் ஆழ்ந்த உறக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு உயிரையும் ஊடுருவி எழுப்பி விடும், ஒரு தெய்விக குரல் .

Why does the Lord Vishnu need a awakener on Earth everyday ? is the Lord, who is the declared protector of all beings, needs to be awakened ? is the Lord so sluggish, sleepy character always in slumber ?

மகாவிஷ்ணுவை பூமியில் தினமும் எழுப்ப ஒருவர் தேவையா ?? அனைவரையும் காத்து ரட்சிக்கும் இறைவனை தினமும் எழுப்ப வேண்டுமா ? கடவுள் என்ன எப்போதும் உறங்கி கொண்டிருக்கும் சோம்பேறியா ?? 

Everyday trillions of lives have to spring up to life form and the universe decided to send one of its awakener on earth, who like the Saint Narada ( aptly This sage also acted as Saint Narada in one of the cult classics ) is on duty 24 x 7 x 365. 

ஓவ்வொரு நாளும் பல்லாயிர கோடி உயிரினங்கள் ஆழ் உறக்கத்தில் இருந்து விழிப்பு நிலைக்கு வர பிரபஞ்சம் ஒரு  துயில் எழுப்ப நாரதர் போன்ற ஒருவரை 24 மணி நேரம் பணியாற்ற அனுப்பியது.     ( இவர் ஒரு திரைப்படத்தில் நாரதராகவே நடித்தார் என்பதும் இவரின் தனிச்சிறப்பு )

Who is this Vishnu ?  why he is in a reclining pose on the curled serpent ?

யார இந்த விஷ்ணு ? ஏன் இவர் சுருண்ட பாம்பின் மீது படுத்திருக்கிறார் ??

One question many of us would have wondered. When a river completely dries up bone dry and after it rains and water flows, fishes start jumping and swimming in the water. Can the fish survive without water ?  A fully grown up fish may not be able to survive but fish's egg can be in slumber in a ready to hatch from embryonic state whenever a drop of water falls on it.

ஒரு கேள்வி நம்மில் பலருக்கும் வந்திருக்கும்.  முற்றிலும் வறண்டு போன ஒரு நதியில் மழை பெய்து தண்ணீர் ஓட தொடங்கிய பின் மீன்கள் எங்கிருந்து வந்து துள்ளி குதிக்கின்றன??. தண்ணீர் இல்லாமல் மீன்களால் வாழ முடியுமா ?? முழுதும் வளர்ந்த மீனால் வாழ முடியாமல் போகலாம் ஆனால் மீனின் முட்டைகள் ஆழந்த உறக்கத்தில் பல நாட்கள் அடுத்த மழை துளி மேலே படும் வரை இருக்க முடிகிறது.

Vishnu, is a state, which is always ready to hatch as a life being. A seed which is always ready to germinate.

விஷ்ணு, என்பது ஒரு நிலை, அது எந்த நேரத்திலும் உறக்க நிலையிலிருந்து உயிர்தெழும் தன்மைக்கு வரக் கூடியது. எந்த நிலையிலும் முளைக்க தயாராக இருக்கும் விதையின் நிலை.

So the sages, who composed various hymns to describe the variety of aspects of Nature, the universe, had described the ready to hatch state as Vishnu. For a commoner to understand , they tried to bring to describe it with tangible forms, which a human can relate to in a Human like form. Fish, according to Puranas, is the first form or avatar of Vishnu and the second is a tortoise and on. Even in Narasimha avatar, when Prahalada was asked, where is the Vishnu ? He replies that One which is always ready to come to life in any form in any place.

இயற்கையின் பேராற்றலை விளக்கிய ஞானிகள், விஷ்ணு என்பது எப்பொழுதும் உயிர்தெழ தயார் நிலையாக விளக்குகின்றனர். பாமர மக்களும் இந்த தன்மையை தத்துவத்தை புரிந்து கொள்ள அது மனிதர்களால் எளிதில் புரிந்து கொள்ளக் கூடிய மனித உருவத்தை வைத்தே விளக்கியுள்ளனர். விஷ்ணு , முதன் முதலாக மீனாகத்தான் அவதரித்ததாக புராணங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. அதன் பிறகு ஆமை மற்றும் பிற உருவ அமைப்புகளிலும் பிறப்பெடுத்தாக கூறுகின்றன. நரசிம்ம அவதாரத்தின் போது பக்தன் பிரகலாதனை அவன் தந்தை "நாராயணன் எங்கே?" என்று கேட்டவுடன், பிரகலாதன் "அவர் தூணிலும் இருப்பார் துரும்பிலும் இருப்பார்" என்று அந்த உயிர்ப்பு தன்மையின் தயார் நிலையை உணர்த்துவார். 

This is the reason that Venkatesa Suprabhatam is recited every day in the morning. Why MS ? 

இதனாலேயே வெங்கடேச சுபரபாதம் தினமும் காலையில் ஒலிக்க பெறுகிறது. ஆனால் அதனை திருமதி எம் எஸ் அம்மா அவர்களின் குரலில் மட்டுமே ஏன் ஒலிக்க பெறுகிறது ???

A great musician, is aptly described as "Gaana amrutha varshi" - the one who pours out the music like the rain droplets. When the rain falls, it is natural, the fish will hatch. Anyone who have heard "Katrinile varum geetham" would definitely vouch to see Lord Krishna in every aspect of our lives.

வான் மழையை போல் இசை மழையை பொழியக் கூடியவரை " கான அம்ருத வர்ஷி" என்று குறிப்பிடுவர். மழை பெய்ததும் மீன்கள் முட்டையிலிருந்து உயிர்தெழ ஆரம்பிக்கும். அம்மா அவர்களின் "காற்றினிலே வரும் கீதம்" பாடலை பாடக் கேட்பவர்கள் கண்ணனை தமது வாழ்வில் உணரத் தொடங்கிவிடுவர்.

More so, in her name, M stands for Madurai, where the ruling Lord is Meenakshi - meaning "Rule of the fish " or the "fish eyed god".

இதுவும் தவிர எம் எஸ் என்ற எழுத்தில் எம் என்பது மதுரையை குறிக்கும், எங்கு அந்த பேராற்றலை -"மீனாட்சி" என்று வணங்கப்படுகிறதோ - "மீனின் ஆட்சி " "மீனை போன்ற கண்களை உடைய" என்ற பொருள்பட வணங்கப்படும் ஊரில் பிறந்தவர்.

The Universe has chosen to send this, Gaana Gandharva ( Celestial Musician ), on this day to awaken 106 years ago, trillions of vishnus, to life and enable the Earth to be a better place to live in.

இந்த பூமியில் பல்லாயிர கோடி உயிர்கள் - விஷ்ணுக்கள் உயிர்தெழ, 106 வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு இந்த தேவலோக கந்தர்வ காந்த இசைக் கலைஞரை இந்த பூமி, பலரும் வாழ தகுதியான இடமாக மாற்ற பிரபஞ்சம் அனுப்பியது.

This Ratna of Bharath, played the role of Sakuntala, once again in that role too, a fish takes away her ring and had to rear her son, The Bharath, which this nation was named after. This soul, is the true essence of this great nation, brand ambassador of this universe.

இந்த பாரதத்தின் உயர்ந்த இரத்தினம், ஒருமுறை சகுந்தலையாகவும் நடித்தார். அந்த பாத்திரத்திற்கும் அவரது மீன் தொடர்பு இருந்தது. அந்த சகுந்தலையின் மகனான பரதனின் பெயராலேயே இந்த பூமி "பாரத" என்ற அழைக்கப்பட்டது.

Till the last file having that Suprabatham in any remotest server on earth, vishnus will be awakened by this voice forever.

உலகத்தில் ஏதொவொரு இணையத்தில் சுப்ரபாதம் என்ற ஒலி நகல் இயக்கப்படும் வரை இவருடைய குரலினால் பல விஷ்ணூக்கள் உயிர்தெழுந்து கொண்டே இருப்பார்கள்.

In the land of doubters, universe gave hopes to lives in the voice of divinity. 

இறைமை என்னும் இயறகை பேராற்றலின் மீது நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் தத்தளித்த பல உயிர்களுக்கும் நம்பிக்கை ஊட்ட பிரபஞ்சம் இந்த குரலிசைஞரை அனுப்பியது.

Still if there are doubters of existence, see the tiny seeds of a Banyan tree, which can show the Vishwa Roopam of Vishnu, with the extent of spread of the Banyan Tree.

இதற்கு மேலும் இயற்கை பேராற்றலின், இறைவனின் முழுத் தோற்றத்தை ( விஸ்வரூபத்தை) காண விழைபவர்கள் ஆல மரத்தின் பழத்தில் இருக்கும் ஒரு விதைக்குள் ஒளிந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் "விஷ்ணூ" என்ற ஆலமரத்தின் அகன்ட விரிந்த தன்மையை கண்டு களியுங்கள். 

அந்த மலையை அப்பனாக நினைத்து "மலையப்பா" என்று அழையுங்கள், அதனை தாங்கியிருக்கும் அந்த மாடு மேய்க்கும் கறுத்த சிறுவனின் சுண்டு விரலும் கண்ணிற்கு புலப்படும், வண்டாக அவன் துளைத்த மூங்கில் துளையின் வழியாக "காற்றினிலே வரும் கீதம் " உங்கள் காதுகளுக்கு கேட்கும். அதனை இயற்றிய கிருஷ்ண மூர்த்தியை (கல்கி ) போற்றும் உள் மனம்.
