Stop Superstardom Save Cricket

One more WTC final loss by the Indian cricket team and Cricket pundits wants now heads to roll on.

Where and what is the root cause?? 

Very straightforward - Cricket is team game and India churns out superstars like Rajini kanth who are single handedly expected to win matches. But see the two title winners - New Zealand and Australia - which are teams winning on collective brilliance. 

Even the Indian team which achieved the impossible in Gabba, Brisbane was led by a unassuming Captain Rahane and no nonsense simple Cricketers who rose to the occasion. 

Sachin Tendulkar's confession that he does not want virat kohli to break his records speaks shallowness of Indian super star mindset. 24 years he played for records and for his sponsors who want to sell everything with his endorsements and same legacy is being followed his successors in super stardom. 

Dhoni who never loses his cool when India was facing loss whereas he fumes if CSK is about to lose. 

No player is fit enough to play three formats in Cricket. 

Reality is very open. Body and mind fatigue sets in any individual if he or she does same routine again and again everyday. Brutal loss at Indore Indian team suffered because Rohit Sharma urging the well set Pujara to accelerate on the 2nd day of the Test match, who could have in his own style tormented the Australian bowling attack, whereas Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians brain sees even a test match with T20 attitude. 

Test match is called so because it tests the players' composure in different moments of the Game. It is also revealed every franchise of IPL wants their respective team captains to be in the Indian Test, ODI & T20 teams just like a reservation quota.

After grueling 3 months of IPL, Gill was labelled as next big thing. ( see sponsors wants someone to be groomed in to the shoes of Sachin - Dhoni - kohli ) Gill showed his feet is no where moving for a test match cricket.

India has enough manpower to play three separate teams for Tests, ODIs and T20s. Why one individual with fatigue and under performance need to play everywhere ?????. Don't make few billionaires instead make many more cricketers come out of poverty. 

BCCI being the richest cricketing body can afford to have two teams for each format, which means at least 66 players be benefitted. 

Nation before franchise :

Australian bowler Mitchell Starc has made a head turning statement rather slapping statement on BCCI and over greedy Indian cricketers that he took rest from IPL to keep himself freshly available for His nation, Australia than his franchise.

Till 7 days prior to WTC final - Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Gill, Rahane, Jadeja, Shami, Siraj were playing body tiring games of IPL all around India. Already many famed cricketers are in hospital as they have screwed up their bodies beyond repair. 

One word of caution for commentators :

Some are most respected players in their hey days are jumping to one man hero worship to save matches for India. Despite you are more experienced than ordinary Cricket crazy Indian citizen, we are able to see corruption is deep rooted and favoritism is always burning. It is more evident when political masters want to share the limelight with cricketers. Should we ask Supreme Court to permanently appoint committees to monitor the cricket board? 

Do we need powers and Pawars to win World cups and ICC Tournaments? 

Statistical analysis clearly says Indian top order constantly fails in putting up good scores in last two WTC cycles, only batters below batting position no 5 are saving matches. Last Australia tour of India, it was Axar Patel who stitched the scores with likes of Jadeja, Ashwin ,shardul, sundar etc... But tired soul Rohit Sharma blames it on Bowlers for failures. 

So verdict is clear :

1. No player will play all three formats 

2. 3 separate teams for all 3 formats with 3 separate captains. 

3. No super stars to be made out of anyone. 

If these three cannot be followed, It is better for Indian Cricket Fans to look for some other sports than Cricket (which cashes in on fans emotions and Money )

Butler India Pak strokes emotions

 

One more good thing happened to the cricket crazy nation - Only 85,000 die hard cricket fans watched the T20 Cricket  world Cup 2022 Final on TV. Many didnt  know what the COOK was cooking but everyone could see what a BUTLER and his men could deliver on plate in the semi finals and the Finals.

Already many cricket pundits have asked for the heads to roll on for the defeat of India in semi finals and Pakistan in Final.

The failure of Indian cricket team to win a world cup for a long time is mainly due to the high pressure hype created by the Marketing machinery of the cricket administration. Media wanted to stroke the nationality passion of the fans and capitalise on the selling their products by catching the eye balls.

TV Channels always makes India Vs Pakistan Men cricket matches as wars between two nations. Stroking nationalism in sports is causing causalities on sportsmanship.

Yes, Cricket is one zing thing that connects the nation in one thread but let us not over stretch it. 

Today's Cricket analysts - ex-cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar or Virendra Sehwag are criticizing the attitude and choking nature of present cricketers. But gentlemen, look at your back, Gavaskar failed in 1987 world cup semi finals, Sehwag failed to win for the nation in 2003 Final. Only in 1983, 2007- the then Captains could inspire and were not expected to win the tournament and so they could win. In 2011, it had many controversies and conspiracy theories surrounding the win.  

We as a nation, are putting our bets on making hero worships and expecting One man to demolish the entire opposition like a Rajinikanth Movie.  It is easy for Neeraj Chopra to win the first Medal and it will be too difficult the 2nd one as the sponsors start lining up thier doors and money showering makes the athlete come under intense pressure and scrutiny which many human minds will not be able to sustain.

The consistent teams, who could win repeated tournaments or matches are because of collective brilliance and contributions by many players. Hero worship culture, could only make few billionaires like Tendulkar , Kohli etc....who could own ferrari cars, private jets. It is time we stop this madness. 

Sports fundamental priority is for physical and mental health. The England team could win the Title as they had 11 batsmen and 7 bowlers, whereas Indian team always dependent on Individual brilliance.

Many had wondered what could have been a Indian team, had not the English Butcher Mountbatten split the country in to two. Sachin to Pound and Wasim Akram to impound, Kohli on meat and Shaheen Afridi to mat. May be we can even  our dream to add Rashid Khan and Shakib ul Hasan as Indian spinners to choke the middle overs. Had not been Mountbatten, Indian Cricket Team would have been a Mount to be beaten, that too by a team of Butler, rather a defining moment under the Rishi Sunak governance, who has a Indo-Pak roots but Only in England he could win.

Now T20 is over it is time for G20 and Mr. Modi is travelling to attend in Bali, the Only Hindu state in a Muslim Country, Indonesia, Today.
